To ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity, Intergraphics uses only native translators for each language we target. Content is translated to convey the overall message in a culturally expressed way, rather than a word-for-word or direct way.

Intergraphics establishes the audience for a translation before beginning. Audiences can vary as to their educational level, geographic area, and many other factors. 


Every project is different. We discuss the full scope of a project from the type of language product needed to the deliverables required to meet your specific language needs. We use an exacting management process, which includes several quality control steps.

Here are steps for managing a multilingual translation project:

  • Establish details, languages, content, concerns, and client deadlines.

  • Estimate project costs and confirm the availability of all participating translators. 

  • Create a trafficking matrix to use in production to track the schedule, actions, and receipt of translations.

  • Send content to all translators with a deadline.

  • Editing & proofreading.

  • Package proofs and send for review and approval.

  • Make any requested changes that are subjective or acceptable.

  • If a client’s change is unacceptable, we provide a translator’s note explaining why a change is grammatically incorrect or unsatisfactory.

  • Upon approval, package final deliverables with source files and PDF’s for web or print.
